Someone who is a good friend, perhaps serving the same owner, or perhaps not.

You can add his or her name to your Ownership Deed if both of you own a LULU Signature Collar. (Click the picture on the left to see what I mean).

Here’s how:

1. Log in to your Ownership Deed (click the “Deed” button on your HUD).

2. Sign in from the link at the top left corner of the browser. (You have already signed up, right?).

3. Hit the “Edit” button on the top right hand corner.

4. Click the  icon on the line saying “This pet (slave) has the following known pet- (slave-) mates.”

5. Nag your friend to accept. (She will be given the option when she logs into her own Ownership Deed).

Only the sub can add pet-mates. It’s a subbie thing.

UPDATE: I’ve updated the Beta to address some transfer and Collar re-setup issues. 

Just refreshed the Signature Collar beta.

Mainly, fixed some minor leashing/unleashing issues, works a bit smoother. Thanks, Omi Navarita for the bug reports.

If you’re upgrading from the previous beta, you can just:

1. click the HUD LULU Logo > HELP… > New HUD… 
2. wear the HUD and “transfer” as the Collar version is still v1.1.40.

If you’re upgrading from the official release, you’ll need to set up your Collar. You’ll also get these fixes from the previous beta:

• can’t leash to anything, missing padded leather (caused by “discreet mode”)
• gag RLV options  ”24-character” limit bug.

How to get your BETA:
Just go to the Update Switch, and get your collar – you will be offered a beta version (if available).

PS. Don’t have an SL facebook account?

You can actually set up a legitimate “Fictional Character” Facebook page with only an email address (and a mobile number), without a prior Facebook account.

Just make sure you’re not logged in to any Facebook (if any), and head to http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php

It will ask you if you have an account or not, just say no and proceed.

From here you can do several things:

• getting started: various “Getting Started” articles for the Collar, Cuffs and Gags are there, as well as for Doms and Dommes.
• search articles: There are over 70 articles already, and more are being added. This Helpdesk has a faster and better search engine than the older one.
• bug reports: If you can consistently reproduce a problem, it’s probably a bug. Please tell me the steps that I can do (like step 1, step 2, step 3) to reproduce the particular bug – what you observe (any messages, behavior), and what you expected to observe. And the versions of the HUD and gear.
• feature requests: This is your wishing well. I do have a very long do-list, so no promises anything you suggest will even be done at all. I’d rather do a few things right rather than a lot of things half-baked. But it’s good to dream, right? And if you like a request, vote for it.
• contact Lulu: Finally, if you can’t find your answers here, or in-group, you can contact me via the form. If you need me to check your stats and such though, please include your SL name!

The uHUD is a light-weight by powerful HUD with all sorts of useful features like AO, rezzer, poser, LM-buttons, etc.; and general RLV features like Shared Folders, forcesit, strip and such. If you click your Pet Tag, look at the Public Register or Ownership Deed, or surf to the Collar / Cuff / Gag page, you might get a “Host Server Not Found” or some such message. This only affects addresses starting with “gear.lululudovico.com“

Basically I’m upgrading the gear.lululudovico.com servers to serve their pages faster. Unfortunately something went wrong and they sort of fell through the cracks and went offline for some people.

This is temporary, and I’m still working with the server techs to get this fixed.

Meantime, just add “www.” in front of the “gear.lululudovico.com…” address and it’ll work.

Say you click the Ownership Deed and it points to:

gear.lululudovico.com/publicRegisterSearch.php?…

and that fails. Just add “www.” in front, becoming:

www.gear.lululudovico.com/publicRegisterSearch.php?…

Just a temporary pain till we find it again.

• if you have HUD v6.2.x wear that (doesn’t matter if it says *OLD*) and wear the v1.0 collar, for now.

Collar v1.1.36 What’s New:

New API or functions:

• rlvVer: active RLV version.
• rlvHUDLocked: TRUE when main HUD is RLV-locked (which is when any LULU Gear is locked by key).
• gearLocked: will show which LULU Gear is locked (==> uHUD is also locked). Bitwise 1= Gag locked, 2 = Cuff locked, 4 = Collar locked. When isRLV == TRUE, when gearLocked is positive, it means both the main HUD and uHUD are also locked.
• ownerPressed(id,errMsg) : function will return TRUE if id is sub’s owner, so you can process the button. If FALSE, will automatically send errMsg (or default msg saying this button is for sub’s user, if blank).
• lockUHUD(pluginName,boolean): function to lock or unlock the uHUD, in such a way that will sync with all other plugins and the main HUD. Will only unlock if everything allows.
