Coming soon with Signature Cuffs v2.4.0:

sub’s owner can now choose to have either of the following on or off when cuffs are rezzed:

Starburst (the shining burst of light on rez)
Drop-Rez (the cuffs dropping to the ground before attaching).

for re-rez, Starburst and Drop-Rez will be off, for the quickest possible re-attach.

Coming soon with Signature Gag v4.1.0:

Starburst on rez. (No drop-rez for gag).

Coming: cuffs, gag can be resized by sub’s owner

Coming with Signature Cuffs v2.4.0 and Gag v4.1.0:

Re-sizing gear can be a chore. LULU Signature Cuffs makes it easier by letting you re-size each pair (e.g. wrist pair) to precise measurements. But it can still be a chore for the subbie setting up her own cuffs, and gag, for the first time – as only the subbie can re-size her own gear.

Not any more.

Now her owner can put the cuffs and gag on her, and size it to fit. For a personal touch.

Coming: v2.4.0 Cuffs 50-70% lighter

Teaser for next cuff update:

The new v2.4.0 cuffs will be 50-70% lighter in scripts (depending on which cuffs you have), and yet provide more functionalities. If SL isn’t acting up, this should translate to faster TP, rez times, response times.

SL rollback of 2.3.0 cuffs

Seems SL played a nasty trick – all 2.3.0 cuffs in SL have been rolled back to an earlier version that doesn’t recognize the white leather. The menu’s still there, but the cuffs can’t recognize the white leather. So don’t be surprised if your white leather cuffs are suddenly tan color now.

Instead of rolling out a 2.3.1 update (which means re-setup for everyone), I’d rather include it in the 2.4.0 update, which will have performance improvements. So the re-setup will have more benefits. Hopefully within the week.

Thanks to Chartruse Skytower, our latest Fashionista (voluntary helper) for reporting this and helping me test this.

[Update] Seems that not everyone is affected by this. lovelygirl Allen has reported that her white leather cuffs have rezzed just fine. She got her v2.3.0 cuffs from the earlier v5.5.0 HUD though.

HUD 5.5.2 out now –> TP re-rez issue, adds Gag re-rez

If you’re using 5.5.0 or 5.5.1 (up to beta6), you’re encouraged to update to 5.5.2.

At the Update Switch, choose “HUD only” if given the choice. It means you have the latest cuffs/gag and you don’t need to re-setup anything, just transfer gear over.
Regardless, if you have cuffs v2.3.0 or gag v4.0.1, you can press “transfer” at the setup screen and transfer your gear over. No need to re-setup.

5.5.2 adds the delayed re-rez feature to Signature Gag, where if the gag were detached in a no-rez or no-script zone, it would automatically re-rez on TP.

5.5.2 fixes an issue where the cuffs sometimes re-rez after TP (in v5.5.0), even though they weren’t detached earlier.
