Signature Gag v3.22.02 refresh

For some strange reason, the new 3.22.02 Signature gags had old scripts in them – not sure what happened, but this affects some gags but not others.

I’ve since refreshed all the gags in server. So if you can’t turn off whine emotes via “/1g emote off” or some of the features listed in the 3.22.02 Release Notes don’t work, please go and update again.

HUD 4.13.03 is on General Release

It’s been almost two weeks since the 4.13.03 Release Candidate was released, and I’ve had no major bug reports. So, it’s time to go live into General Release.

The next time you wear your Signature gag or cuffs, you should be informed if your toy is outdated (some older versions might not notify you though – so just compare the versions yourself).

The 4.13.xx series boast improved Smart Reset (including pre-emptive checks that aim to detect SL problems before you do) as well better help system and numerous bugfixes.

To update, just go to the Secret Warehouse, look for the Update Switch, click it, and follow instructions.

HUD v4.13.03 RC is out!

Mostly bugfixes, but RL Viewer-users (1.11 onwards) have a new feature: now your cuffs, when locked, will only allow you to touch stuff within 1.5 meters. Nasty.

<edit>And gag users can turn off the periodic text whines with a new “emotes” button (actually this was an old “text” button that was taken off recently when I introduced the new spacial “text” button on HUD).<edit>

To get your copy, just click the relevant Release Candidate boxes once you enter the Secret Warehouse, and follow instructions. Alternatively, since this is also a silent release, you can also use the Update Switch.

Tip of the Week

Tip #8 You don’t have to lose your Gag Circle settings when upgrading

You’ve worked hard to chalk up the hours to get up to the next Gag Circle. Not easy considering the crashes that SL dishes out these days. Anyway, you are afraid that if you upgrade your gag to the latest version (or to a Release Candidate), you’ll lose all that hard work.

No you won’t lose your Circle – you can transfer the stats over to your new HUD. Just do this:

1) Get a new gag HUD at the Update Switch at the Warehouse (either coz your gag is outdated, or SL borked your current gag and you wanna start afresh)

2) Setup the new gag.

3) Wait a while for the “transfer” menu to pop up, or you can call it yourself by hitting “transfer…” on the HUD menu. Then follow instructions. Basically you will be asked to rez the old HUD at some point.

Well, in fact, other stats like your gag position, rotation, size and even your owner list will be transferred over. So you don’t have to adjust your gag all over again.

Only thing to watch out for is that you need to give your owners the new key – each gag setup generates its own encoded key.
