As announced earlier here, here and here, as part of the new Signature Gag v.4 (free upgrade from v.3) plan, all Signature Gag v.3’s best times (high scores) over 24h will be truncated to 24h.
This will happen sometime tonight, or perhaps tomorrow.
You will not notice this unless you reset your HUD (“/1.quickreset” or “/1.reset” etc.) or setup a new HUD.
You can only go above 24 hours with the new upcoming v.4 gags.

In line with the previous announcements on the upcoming v.4 Signature Gags, the Top20 Scoreboard will be taken offline with immediate effect. This will allow me to conduct tests on the v.4 Gag.
What this means:
The v.4 Gags are long overdue, and besides a few new features, will work very nicely with the v.5 HUD, which has stabilizer features built in to counter the rather finicky SL world we live in.
As for the PLUS Cuff Scoreboard, I must confess I goofed.
I accidentally took the inworld server to inventory. That means that future updates will not work, because if I rez it again it will be given a new UUID by SL. But then again,the PLUS Cuffs have been superseded by the Signature Cuffs for some time now, so it’s not such a bad idea to conserve sim resources by taking it off line.

Yes, soon the v.3 Signature Gags will be upgraded to v.4 for free. This will make the Gags fully compatible with the v.5 HUD, leveraging on the stability and other features built into the HUD.
Chief among the v.4 Gag changes is the way the Trials are conducted. They will be streamlined a bit to be consistent in the way they are started, and there will be more help pages.
But most importantly, the subbie will no longer be able to “sleep” through a Trial, if you know what I mean. Many people have questioned the validity of the Scoreboard timings, and these coming changes will ensure that if you make the new Scoreboard, you can hold your head up high with pride – there is no shortcut.
I’ve already announced these impending changes back in December, and now I’d like to share some details.
The No-AFK feature will be implemented for the v.4 Gag Trials. This levels the playing field, so subbies who have access to sims or bots and such do not have the easy way out. Don’t worry, you are given about five minutes’ grace to respond to the prompts, so you can still get a quick coffee, rush to the toilet or even check the baby and still be fine.
If you fail to respond within the 5 minutes, or if you respond incorrectly (macros won’t work here!), you’re busted.
This is what happens if you’ve been busted for “sleeping” on the Trial:
Before you level to the next Circle, any No-AFK breach will not terminate the Trial. Instead, your time spent on the current Trial will be reduced by more than the “missing” time since the last No-AFK check. So you’re worse off than if you had been paying attention.
However, once you’ve leveled to the next Circle, any No-AFK breach will terminate the Trial immediately, freezing your highscore. This will affect subbies who are going after the Top20 Scoreboard.
Speaking of which, the v.3 Scoreboard at the Warehouse will be frozen soon and kept aside (I’ll take a snapshot for the blog, to be preserved for posterity). A new v.4 Scoreboard will take its place.
With the v.4 gag update, your current Circle will not be affected. Neither will your best time be affected if they are below 24 hours. If they are above 24 hours, they will be reduced to 24 hours, to level the playing field. If you wish to go for a higher best time (and you really don’t have to, it is entirely optional), you need to start a new Trial.
Naturally, the v.4 Scoreboard will only accept new high scores from v.4 gags.

First off, this doesn’t apply if you have padded-steel cuffs. If you have leather cuffs, it does not apply if they are prior to v2.2.3. They would also not apply if you do not have thigh cuffs.
This only applies to leather Signature Cuffs v2.2.3 bought or updated before the 25 Apr Sat 10:42 PST (SL Time), and only if you have thigh cuffs.
There is a minor bug where left wrist cuff would go the wrong way when chaining to the thighs (thanks Joy Stipe for the bug report!).
To fix, simply go to the udpate switch at the Warehouse and get a fresh set (when you’re presented with the option, choose “HUD+Cuffs”).
When you wear the new HUD, it will ask you to setup.
Now, instead of setting up everything and activating all plugins (you can do that if you wish, just that there’s an easier way), you can click “transfer” instead of “SETUP” (“transfer” is the button next to “SETUP”).
Now, go through the menu-driven transfer process, and rez your original v5.3.3 HUD and transfer everything over.
After the transfer, click the HUD “LULU” logo (or say “/1.”) and hit “re-setup” and re-setup the left-wrist only (if it throws up more than 1 menu option, just click “{wrist-left}” on any one, and press “Ignore” on the other).
The new left-wrist will still be v2.2.3. But the wrist-thigh bug is gone.
You might have to re-adjust the position and rotation of your left wrist though (good chance it’ll be a bit off) after the re-setup.

Mainly bugfixes, like missing animations, randomly mispositioned cuffs on rez, and suchlike.
Gagettes using RLV will now garble (different gag types will garble differently)… and randomly too – so say the same word again, and it’ll sound different. No more “…”. If you only have the gag (and not cuffs), just go to the Updater and get the “HUD only”, and transfer over.
