Cuffs v2.4.9 (BETA) out now

LULU-Cuffs-2-4

Edit2: I’ve updated the beta to HUD v6.3.37 (and cuffs 2.4.9). This should fix the issues in the earlier beta release.

Edit: Pre-release testings were fine, but I’m now getting some reports of issues with the leather cuffs, so I’m putting the 2.4.9 back on beta for now. Let me know if you give it a spin and it works/doesn’t work for you. Thanks.

 This update fixes the following:

Thanks to Stormy Dench for reporting and testing this.

To get yours, just go to the Update Switch. If you have arm and thigh plugins, remember to use your Activators to get them after you have set up the core cuffs.

“Not all Cuffs Worn” Issue

LULU padlock-gray

[Edit2] I might have a fix for this. If anyone needs a test set, IM me.

[Edit] I’m pretty sure this is caused by a change in the way SL servers process scripts. It was fine for a long long time, and then suddenly this happens, even if it’s intermittent. Still working on a solution.

Recently, I’ve been getting intermittent reports of the HUD thinking that some Cuffs are not worn, when indeed they are all worn.

I am investigating this issue. I’ve made some progress, thought I’d fixed it, but it still rears its ugly head intermittently.

If you’re experiencing this problem, you can wait a few days while I dig deeper into this. You can also subscribe to this bug report to be notified by email when the status changes.

If you can’t wait, you can try to figure out which Cuff is causing the problem (e.g. wrists or ankles) and try to re-setup one or both of the Cuffs (again, and again, if need be, till it works – it is intermittent, and is affected during a ‘botched’ setup, so if it works, it would continue working).

Cuff resizing/positioning problem fixed

If you’ve had trouble making your cuff repositioning/resizing stick through relogs or resets, the problem has been found and fixed.

There was a setting issue at my offworld database which truncated data somewhat randomly.

To see your fix, just readjust them one more time, and they should stick now.

Timing out on Firestorm Log Ins?

Are you experiencing time outs when you log in with the LULU Signature Cuffs and Gags in Firestorm*?

Frank Skosh has found the fix. It’s to do with Firestorm’s implementation of http-inventory. Basically the inventory doesn’t load properly, and hence the time-out.

The fix:

  1. On the Advanced menu, click Show Debug Settings (Ctrl-Alt-Shift-S for Windows)
  2. Enter “UseHTTPInventory” in the debug field.
  3. Click FALSE

Tell me if it works (or not) for you!
Thanks, Frank for finding the fix!

AO Bridge v1.02 is out, with bugfix

The AO Bridge script ‘LULU.aoBridge.lsl’ which syncs your AO with LULU Cuffs (and Collar) is now v1.02 v1.03.

It fixes a bug in 1.01 which might cause the script to ‘die’ upon log in or TP’ing. (Edit: v1.03 fixes a bug in earlier versions that would cause your AO to turn on after the LULU anim, even if it wasn’t on in the first place. Now it will only unpause the AO if it was already running initially).

You can get the updated script by clicking the crate beside the Update Switch. Full instructions here.
