The next gag update will see something I’ve always wanted to have but haven’t found the time to implement – a no-AFK prompt system.The idea of the Trials of Silence is that the sub needs to savor the experience, and not… sleep on it, if you know what I mean.

Enter the new No-AFK system, which will randomly prompt the sub, and the sub needs to respond within 5 minutes (hey, gotta give allowance for pee breaks!). Failure to give the correct response will result in end of the Trial (equivalent to speaking). The sub’s owner, at his/her discretion, can make the timings more restrictive, but not more lax.

Now, for the purpose of the Top-20 Scoreboard, we need to have the same game rules, since the rules have changed. So, the current thinking is this: I will freeze the current Top-20 Scoreboard and move it somewhere and maybe call it the Old-School Scoreboard (I will definitely take a snapshot and immortalize it on the blog for posterity, so all achievements are not forgotten).

In its place will be the new Top-20 Scoreboard, based on the new No-AFK rules. Only the new gags can contribute to it. All existing First Slaves (whether or not currently on the Scoreboard) will have their times shaved to the minimum required 24 hours (there is no change to Circle level, only the best time). So initially, the new board will be populated by a whole bunch of “random” First Slaves with 24 hours. Eventually, they will be replaced by the bold ones who achieve new levels with the new rules. Existing First Slaves can go for longer times by starting and completing new trials (they will not level, but will reach a new highscore).

As this affects every gagette (and their owners), I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Before you IM though, make sure your Gag HUD is at least v4.13 (if not v.5). If not, go to the Secret Warehouse and get updated. Setup the new gag, transfer settings from old gag, then IM. Otherwise they won’t be able to verify your Circle.

Your title will depend on how many “First Slaves” circles you have:

• if you have one gag and are “First Slave”, your title is “LULU First Slave”
• if you have a few gags and are “First Slave” at 2 or 3 gags, your title is “LULU First Slave x2”
• … if you are “First Slave” at 4 or 5 gags, your title is “LULU First Slave x4”
• the highest at this point is “LULU First Slave x6”, for the most patient of them all!

* For those who don’t know, the LULU Signature v.3 Gag comes with Trials of Silence, which lead to different levels called Circles. It’s not easy. Now, if you’re at the First Slave Circle, you can join LULU First Slave Circle group.

If your LEATHER Arm:Right doesn’t re-size properly (v5.0.9 HUD), SL has eaten some important scripts.

I’ve fitted the Update Switch with a new set (same version #). So just get a fresh set at the Update Switch. It’ll give you a box with the HUD (I kept the same version number – v5.0.9 as this wasn’t a major issue).

1. Detach old 5.0.9 HUD. 2. Wear new 5.0.9 HUD 3. At welcome screen, don’t setup. Press “transfer” instead. 4. Rez old 5.0.9 HUD to transfer gear over. 5. After transfer, hit “LULU Logo” and on menu, click “re-setup” and choose {arm:right}. That’s it.

Fixes a couple of v5.00.07 issues: 1) You don’t have thigh plugins, you’d get a can’t rez object error message (though everything rezzes fine) when you say “/1c” 2) IF you have leather cuffs, some walk anims are missing.

IF you have v5.00.07 already:

• you don’t need to setup. Just wear the .08 HUD, choose “transfer” instead of “setup” and transfer gear from your .07.

• EXTRA STEP for those with leather cuffs (and who have transferred from v5.00.07): After transfer, say “/1.” and hit “re-setup” and re-setup your {ankle:left}. That’s it.

IF you do not have v5.00.07 already (i.e. lower v5.00.x or v4.x.x versions):

• you need to set up again because the cuffs are new.

With this scoped bugfixes, the v5.00.08 HUD and v2.00.02 cuffs are going on silent release. If you get a new cuff / HUD from the Update Switch, you’ll be getting this instead of the old v4.x HUD and v1. cuffs. All new purchases will also be the updated set.

The new v5.00.07 RC Refresh is out, with a new ZHAO v1.03 (fixes a ZHAO bug that might bork cuff anims).

New feature: even in “refresh off” mode (for when SL borks your refresh anims and you end up twitching badly), your arms should now remain bound in the majority of situations. Yes, even without refresh, your bonds will now stick 😉  Mostly. Of course, best results are still with the “refresh on” mode, which is still the default.

Whole slew of bugfixes (and workarounds), including the permission and missing animation errors. Details here.

If I don’t get any major bug reports, this should be the final version slated for general release soon.

Recommended: ZHAO v1.03 that has a bugfix. Now it comes pre-fitted with a priority-3 “sexy walk” but feel free to customize to your needs. It’s pretty easy. Remember, the free ZHAO (Lulu Mod) v1.03 is the easiest way to seamlessly integrate walk anims with the cuff walks and poses.

Setup required. Because all cuffs have been updated with new scripts, you need to choose “setup” instead of “transfer” from the welcome menu.
